With [REC] 2 hitting limited theaters tomorrow (right up against PREDATORS… big mistake!), it’s only fitting that the UK DVD / Blu-ray release of the film has officially been announced, with cover art and specs galore!
The cover art for both formats matches the original poster art for the film’s theatrical release, so it’s nice to see that they didn’t change what wasn’t broken (I dig the cover, yo!). What’s new are the quotes, of which begins with “The Best Zombie Sequel Since Dawn of the Dead!” by some website called Little White Lies. It’s a great quote, but considering it’s source is a little white lie, who the f*ck is gonna believe that shit?
Regardless, here are the specs you can look forward to…
The DVD gets a little bit shafted in terms of extras, but what are you gonna do? Go buy a Blu-ray player and never look back, that’s what I say.
