Do you guys remember way back in January, when Jake hit you all with a little diddy regarding the live-action adaptation of the popular X-Box 360 video game DEAD RISING? That’s right, a live-action adaptation of DEAD RISING. Months ago Jake gave you all a look at an international trailer for the project and here I am today with another nice juicy update for you all!
Not only do we have a look at the English trailer for the film but we’ve also got the flick’s official name: ZOMBREX: DEAD RISING SUN. … Really? Does it really have to be that complicated? We can’t just go with DEAD RISING huh? Well crazy title aside I know what you all want to see: The new trailer! Am I right? Of course I am. So what’re we waiting for? The movie is set in an alternative reality in which areas affected by outbreaks are strictly quarantined, and those living in the area are cordoned off from the rest of the country. Two brothers George and Shin, hatch a plan to escape.
DEAD RISING designer Keiji Inafune directed ZOMBREX: DEAD RISING SUN with a cast that includes Hiroki Yoshida, Hiroshi Yazaki, and Shibyou Osen.
So the question remains: When will we be seeing this bad boy? Unfortunately no date has been decided yet but we do know we’ll be able to catch the flick via X-Box Live and on the film’s official website.
