Hard to believe that films released in 1990 are now rockin’ their 20th birthday or anniversary or whatever the hell you want to cal it. For some reason, it doesn’t feel like 1990 was that long ago, but… it was. And now here we are, rockin’ a newly transferred version of one of the greatest mind-f*cks of all time, Adrian Lyne’s JACOB’S LADDER.
To help celebrate it’s 20th year of release, Lionsgate Home Entertainment is releasing JACOB’S LADDER on Blu-ray this September, with some equally cool special features to go along with it… check out the madness below:
Ok, so maybe that’s not all that pimped out, but he new cover art is definitely worth checking out, as it really portrays the idea of spiraling down into the mouth of madness that is JACOB’S LADDER. For those uninitiated, the film centers on a traumatized Vietnam war veteran who finds out that his post-war life isn’t what he believes it to be when he’s attacked by horned creatures in the subway and his dead son comes to visit him.
If that gave you a WTF moment, just wait until you check out the film. Starring Tim Robbins, Elizabeth Pena, and Danny Aiello, the film f*cked the minds of audiences 20 years ago, and now it’s aiming to do it all over again on September 14, 2010, when JACOB’S LADDER arrives home on glorious Blu-ray. Enjoy the cool cover art below and be sure to PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY TODAY.
