You guys remember that Spanish thriller THE OXFORD MURDERS? This thing has been rattling around for nearly four years and it still hasn’t hit US soil! Well folks if you’ve been concerned about that very fact then you can put your worries away… THE OXFORD MURDERS finally has a US release date!
Mathematic serial killer fans rejoice! According to the film’s official Facebook page the Álex de la Iglesia directed project will be hitting Video-on-Demand starting July 2nd with a theatrical release planned soon after on August 6th. It’s about time! Jeez. The last update we gave you guys on the project came nearly a year ago, so I’m sure you can understand the frustration of waiting for this one to hit the US. Though to be honest it’s not looking like anything special… But hey you’ll be able to judge that for yourself come July 2nd!
At Oxford University, a professor and a grad student work together to try and stop a potential series of murders seemingly linked by mathematical symbols.
The film stars Elijah Wood, John Hurt, Leonor Watling (below), and Julie Cox.
