New Expendables clip has Stallone, Statham, knives and guns

Can THE EXPENDABLES look any more badass? My most anticipated movie of the summer keeps on looking better and better. If this one disappoints, I don’t know what I’ll do with myself… It’ll probably involve drunken crying while holding a gun to my head… No different than any other evening, I suppose.

Anyway, here’s an amusing little exchange between Sly Stallone and Jason Statham’s characters while they’re in the midst of extreme danger. I expect a lot of this kind of thing from the film, which is great, because I actually miss the “quippy” Stallone. His last two films have seen him play brooding and morose, but I think of TANGO AND CASH/DEMOLITION MAN Stallone just as fondly. The guy actually has decent comic timing, something no one has really ever appreciated.

As for THE EXPENDABLES, it opens AUGUST 13th, but that should be marked down in red marker on your calendar by now…
