So this little news tidbit today isn’t really a big deal… but it’s pretty f*cking cool! Why beat around the bush? I’m just going to get right to it: The original Amityville Horror house from the 1979 film is now for sale!

That’s right ladies and gents, for only $1.15 Million you can live in a piece of horror history. Now is it just me or is that a pretty fair price? Perhaps there’s a major discount because some restless spirits would rather not move out? Just kidding….

The New York home, a five-bedroom Dutch Colonial, went on the market Monday and was featured in 1979’s THE AMITYVILLE HORROR. ‘The Oscar-nominated film is based on the story of the Lutz family’s brief stay in the house in 1975 after six members of the DeFeo family were shot and killed as they slept in the home. Eldest son Ronald DeFeo Jr. was convicted of the murders.’

Pretty damn cool right? It’s times like these I wish I had $1.15 Million lying around.
