The last update we got on Neil Burger’s THE DARK FIELDS came about a month ago in the form of some casting news. Now that’s all fine and dandy, but what’s going on with this shite?! It’s been a month already and I want some goods! If you’re feeling the same way then I’ve got one hell of an update for you all today!

[The film] follows a down-and-out writer who gets his hands on a top-secret pharmaceutical drug that makes one smarter. He experiences sudden financial and social success but soon discovers that the drug has lethal and lasting side effects. Before long, mysterious antagonists are pursuing him.
THE DARK FIELDS stars Anna Friel (below), Bradley Cooper, Robert DeNiro, Abbie Cornish (above), Andrew Howard, T.V. Carpio and Tomas Arana. This shite is currently filming and already has a release date of March 18, 2011 so hopefully we’re treated to more DARK FIELDS goods soon! As always, keep it here for more as we hear it!
