Last time we were talking about Jordan Galland’s ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE UNDEAD the flick had scored a limited release this June. Well that shite is just a month away so I’d say it’s about time we see some new goods for ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN! Don’t you agree?

Living in the back room of his father’s doctors office, broke and frustrated ladies man Julian scores his big break when he lands the job directing an off Broadway version of Hamlet. Except it’s a bizarre adaptation written by a pale Romanian impresario named Theo who is actually a master vampire. Theo hopes to lure the real Hamlet out of hiding so the two can end a century’s long feud over Shakespeare’s Ophelia. Meanwhile, Julian pines for his ex-girlfriend, Anna , who is dating Mobster Bobby Bianchi. Added into the mix is a dimwitted detective and a terrific score by Sean Lennon.
ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE UNDEAD sports a pretty impressive cast that includes Jake Hoffman, Ralph Macchio, Jeremy Sisto, Devon Aoki (below), Joey Kern, Bijou Phillips, Kris Lemche and John Ventimiglia. The film will be hitting New York on June 11th followed by a limited release in Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, and Seattle on June 25th. No word on any sort of wider release but we’ll keep you updated.
