Just yesterday we wrote about a supernatural thriller called THE AWAKENING that’s in pre-production – and would you look at that, it’s already got a teaser poster! Okay, so it’s really just a promo poster from Cannes, but it’s something. Give it a click to see a larger version.

The film is set in 1921 post-World War I England, and tells the story of a skeptical woman who travels to a countryside boarding school to investigate rumors of a haunting. Just when she thinks she has debunked the ghost theory, she has a chilling spectral encounter which defies all her rational beliefs.

Rebecca Hall (pictured below), Dominic West and Imelda Staunton star in the flick, which goes into production this June under the direction of t.v. director Nick Murphy..
