One thing we love doing here at AITH is telling you all about little horror flicks that might not get the press they deserve. Often we’ll come across a project that strokes us the right way, so the only logical thing to do is pass the news along to all of you. And more times than not, you guys are digging on it too! So it’s with that in mind that I come here today to tell you all about SPRING BREAK ZOMBIE CRUISE.

Alright, I know you’re already sold on the project and have already cleared space on your DVD shelf for this bad boy but let’s take a step back here. Want the details on SPRING BREAK ZOMBIE CRUISE? Chances are you could care less about specifics at this point but I’m going to tell you anyway.

A recent article over at the LA Times about 3D films let loose the news that Matt Pitts is planning on teaming with Madhouse Entertainment to bring us his feature, SPRING BREAK ZOMBIE CRUISE, in glorious 3D! Pitts, who has served as a writer on the genre show “Fringe,” was an assistant to the great JJ Abrams, so I think it’s a safe bet to assume the guy knows his stuff. But that’s not all, we’ve even got the synopsis for you to check out:

A virus from a top secret government island has accidentally infected a spring break cruise ship in the middle of the ocean. With most of the partying students turned into zombies, it’s up to a soldier and a group of co-eds to contain the virus before it reaches land .. and before they are eaten.

Well that seems completely pointless. Completely pointless, but I’ll pay good money to see it! And I’m sure I’m not the only one! Zombies chasing around sexy co-eds on a Spring Break cruise ship? There’s been countless awesome zombie movies made throughout the years. There’s been even more horrible zombie movies. Does it really matter which cateogry SPRING BREAK ZOMBIE CRUISE falls under? This thing has WIN written all over it!

Unfortunately these are the only details I was able to scrap together. Hey, at least it’s enough to spark your interest right? If it hasn’t sparked your interest, tell us why below and be sure to keep it here for more on SPRING BREAK ZOMBIE CRUISE 3D as we hear it!
