A few weeks ago our man Jared told you about the little Australian horror flick by the name of UNINHABITED (rock that acid flashback HERE). Today a new poster fell into our lap for the flick, and from what I can tell, this movie is gonna have a ton of screaming.

Not that having a woman scream is all that surprising, especially in a horror flick, but when it’s on the poster, you know there’s gonna be some exceptionally loud and prolonged screaming sequences.

As a refresher, the vacation gone to hell in a handbasket flick, directed by Bill Bennett, goes a little something like this: A young couple’s deserted, coral island paradise getaway becomes a living hell when they discover that the island harbours something a long time dead, and it really doesn’t want them there.

Not pirates, or crooks, or crazed maniacs, but rather some sort of supernatural creature who wants these two off its island or dead… or both. And craziest of all, this shit is ‘based on actual events.’ Hells yeah! Sounds amazing, and best of all, it’s a new twist on a concept we’ve seen all too many times. Props on that, Bennett!

The flick stars Geraldine Hakewill and Henry James, though no theatrical release date has been set. Oh well, it’s just a matter of time. Meanwhile, be sure to check out the new poster below, and get ready for more of UNINHABITED as it comes our way!
