Wolf Moon howls with a new DVD cover and just one special feature

A few weeks back our man Jared informed you that DARK MOON RISING had been changed to WOLF MOON for its DVD release. I can only speculate that this move is in direct relation to the success of another MOON movie by the name of NEW MOON.

Today we’re blessed with the official DVD artwork for the release, as well as details to the film’s special features, of which there is one.

  • Commentary with Writer/Director Dana Mennie and Actor Max Ryan
  • That might not seem like much, but for a little movie to have a commentary track… that’s kind of a big deal. Not saying that it’ll be worth listening to, but I am saying that it’s more than just a dinky ‘making-of’ featurette.

On the other hand, the DVD cover (as seen below) is weak-sauce and as generic as they come. Could this same cover be used for just about any werewolf movie ever made? I think so. That said, this guy has some serious sideburns going. They’re quite impressive, actually.

Get ready to PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY OF THE DVD today, and prepare yourselves for WOLF MOON in stores everywhere June 22, 2010.
