Remember that Dylan Dog adaptation DEAD OF NIGHT? Regardless of the flick being in post-production we haven’t really been hearing much about it. Hell the last update we had came back in February, and that was just some shots of a desk. Well thankfully today we’ve got a pretty decent update on the flick!
Today the news broke over at BestMovie.it that DEAD OF NIGHT will be making it’s premiere this Halloween in Italy! That’s right folks, Italy! Didn’t see that one coming. Unfortunately there’s no other release dates pegged for DEAD OF NIGHT, which means we’ll just have to wait a bit longer to find out when we’ll be seeing Dylan Dog here in the US. The poster seen to the right also popped up online today and it’s the first time this schmuck is seeing it so there you go. Enjoy!
DEAD OF NIGHT will chronicle the adventures of supernatural private eye, Dylan Dog, who seeks out the monsters of the Louisiana bayou in his signature red shirt, black jacket, and blue jeans. In the film Dylan Dog is forced back into his nightmare investigations after he is approached by a woman who claims to have seen her father brutally murdered by a mysterious creature. With his street smarts, his gun, and a set of paranormal weapons, Dylan attempts to restore order both above and below ground.
Brandon Routh stars in the film as ‘Dylan Dog’ alongside Peter Stormare, Sam Huntington, Anita Briem, wrestler Kurt Angle, and Taye Diggs. Kevin Munroe is directing. So if you’re lucky enough to be reading this from Italy you’ve got a date to mark on your calender while the rest of us wait patiently for our turn.
