That Burger King dude is a pimp if I’ve ever seen one. Seriously think about it. The dude runs around tackling people and trying to give them free food, he sports major bling and fur, and he runs around with hotties. The dude’s only flaw is he’s creepy as f*ck! I mean waking up to his smiling face sitting in bed besides you… Why does my ass hurt? Exactly.
But we’re not here to talk about ‘The King.’ No, we’re talking about ‘Burger King’ as in the actual place. You see Burger King are planning on running some King-less ads to promote they’re new ‘Late Night’ deal and guess who they’ve recruited to help?! Ghostface, Jason Voorhees, Freddy Krueger and Chucky! The info for these new ads comes from the guys over at GeekTyrant, who say Dubai-based advertising agency Tonic came up with the ads to promote BK’s new late night hours (open until 4AM!). A rep from Tonic had the following to add:
“We were asked to communicate that Burger King stays open until the wee hours of the morning. Thomas [Derouault] and Kris [Richardson] came up with the following campaign showing the villains of the night that we know all too well, enjoying their favourite meal after a … umm … night out. The ads were shot in South Africa and Dubai by French photographer Ben Dauchez and retouched by Thomas himself. A job well done! The series comprises of four ads which will run in press and outdoor.”
