Warner Bros. preps another Final Destination movie?

Great kills. Bad acting. Four words that aptly sum up the appeal (or abhorrence) of the FINAL DESTINATION franchise. And in case you thought you witnessed, or perhaps suffered, the last concoction of which in last year’s FINAL DESTINATION, guess again.

Apparently Warner Bros. is forging ahead with a 5th film in the series, so said studio exec Alan Horn at this year’s ShoWest presentation. No story details were served up, or if any above the line talent has been attached so far. Hell, we’re not sure if a script has even been etched. Not like a script matters, if a movie that costs $43 million to make grosses more than 4 times that amount worldwide ($66 million of which domestically), a mothaf*ckin’ follow up film is imminent.

The real question would be, since the last flick was shot in 3D, will the new one be as well? My answer’s a resounding OF COURSE…a reply I’m none too thrilled about (just see our 3D Thriller story).

But what do you guys think? Or want? Is another FINAL DESTINATION flick something you could get down with?
