Brand new one-sheet for Sly Stallone’s action packed thriller The Expendables

Just last week we saw a pretty badass new one-sheet for Sly Stallone’s genre reviving action spectacle THE EXPENDABLES (revisit that shite HERE). Well, with spring abound, Millennium & Nu Image Films are clamping their heel on the marketing pedal as they speed toward an August 13th release. As such, we have in my opinion, an even doper one-sheet for the star studded actioner. Peep it below…

Why do I dig this new look more than the last? First off, the last one was a bit too reminiscent of poster(s) we’ve already seen for the flick. Second of all, this new one, despite being brighter, has some irrefutably awesome artwork going for it, shit that highlights the best of what we love about action movies. Metal skulls, an arsenal of high powered weaponry, Rambo style hunting knives, the f*ckin’ works!

But what says you? You diggin this new look the most? You like the last one better? Why? Make like Stallone and empty a full round below!

Written with Sly by David Callaham, THE EXPENDABLES tells the story of Barney Ross (Sylvester Stallone), a man with nothing to lose. Fearless and void of emotion, he is the leader, the sage and the strategist of this tight-knit band of men who live on the fringe. His only attachment is to his pickup truck, his seaplane and his team of loyal modern-day warriors. His is a true cynic who describes what he does as removing those hard to get at stains. The team behind him is made up of Lee Christmas (Jason Statham), former SAS and a savant with anything that has a blade; Yin Yang (Jet Li), a master at close-quarter combat; Hale Caesar (Terry Crews), who has known Barney for ten years and is a long-barrel weapons specialist; Toll Road (Randy Couture), a skilled demolitions expert and considered the intellect of the group; and Gunnar Jensen (Dolph Lundgren), a combat veteran and an expert in precision sniping who struggles with his own demons.

Mickey Rourke, Eric Roberts, Bruce Willis, Danny Trejo, Steve Austin and Arnold “Get to the Choppa” Schwarzenegger round out the most impressive ensemble.

August 13th yo, it’s f*ckin on!

I get the feeling Charisma Carpenter will not be Expendable!
