If one positive thing can be said about TWILIGHT, it’s that its success allowed for TRUE BLOOD to be greenlit and adapted for the small screen. The series, relatively fresh with only two seasons under its belt, has been wildly successful and popular, gaining one of the largest followings in HBO’s history.
The hit vampire show is gearing up for its third season, and it now has an official kick-start date! On Sunday, June 13, the 12 episode third season of TRUE BLOOD will premiere on HBO, and those who have been waiting for Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Sam Trammell to return to the small screen will have a chance to rejoice in the show’s vampire awesomeness.
New additions to the cast this season include Alfre Woodard and Kevin Alejandro, while Michelle Forbes will not be coming back. Looks like you’ll have something to look forward to this summer when all your other shows are in hiatus. Very, very, very nice, indeed.
