The buzz about Kyle Rankin’s INFESTATION has been pretty positive for the most part, well at least the stuff I’ve been hearing. Intriguing. So what’s next for the director? Apparently it’s a flick called NUCLEAR FAMILY. Read on for the skinny!
So what do you think NUCLEAR FAMILY is about? Quiet Earth offers up the synopsis:
Nuclear Family tells the story of a young couple, John & Lynn, who are trying to survive in the woods after a nuclear holocaust. They stay on the move with their 11-year old daughter Pauline… all the while searching for their missing 8-year old son, Grant. Meanwhile, society has disintegrated and the family must stay one step ahead of the Berserkers: lawless, wild, brutal men who rape, pillage, & destroy as a way of life (lead by a sadistic figure called The Man: Ray Wise).
Meanwhile Kyle Rankin dropped Bloody-Disgusting a message with the following:
“It’s a post-apocalyptic action/drama with lots of fighting, blood, and gunplay. t’s about a small family trying to survive and find their missing son while staying one step ahead of a brutal band of lawless, horrible men called the Berserkers. … We’ve started shooting in the hills of Topanga, CA, and will wrap on the 20th.”
Now we’re not talking about THE ROAD right? Alright just wanted to make sure. NUCLEAR FAMILY stars Corin Nemec, Ray Wise and Kinsey Packard.
