So Wes Craven is directing SCREAM 4? Nice! Oh wait… He might not be? Let’s make up our minds people. While it’s unknown if Craven will be involved (yeah right…) we do know one name that won’t be a part of SCREAM 4: Liev Schreiber.

Apparently rumors have been circling the internet that Schreiber would be in SCREAM 4, returning to reprise his role as ‘Cotton Weary’ in some way. I know what you’re saying: ‘No sh*t, the dude got dead.’ Right? Right. So what’s the deal? At a press junket for his upcoming film REPO MEN Schreiber was asked that very question. The actor said to his knowledge he isn’t a part of the film then jokingly added although his mother thinks he is. Oh rumors, got to love them.

So Schreiber is out but Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Kevin Williamson and Neve Campbell (below) are all in! What about Craven? We shall see. Be sure to keep it here for more on SCREAM 4 as we hear it!
