Not sure about you, but I love me a good ole horror anthology flick!

Whether it’s old-school fare like the original TALES FROM THE CRYPT, CREEPSHOW, TWILIGHT ZONE, or even new-school outings like TRICK R’ TREAT…I’m a fan.

And thanks to the current craze for such a form in Thailand, we’ve seen recent fare like PHOBIA, PHOBIA 2, HAUNTED UNIVERSITIES, just to name a few. So to keep the trend alive and well is a new flick called DIE A VIOLENT DEATH, for which a trailer has been made available by the good folks over at Twitch. Check that shite out underneath!

Taking a topical look at some of Thailand’s most depraved contemporary matters, DIE A VIOLENT DEATH is:

An omnibus film of four stories pulled straight from Thailand’s most gruesome headlines. In “Flame”, a man is haunted by regret and a ghost after he survives a nightclub fire that killed his girlfriend. In “Imprison”, a prisoner questions his sanity after his cell-mate hangs himself. In “Revenge”, a deaf-mute drug dealer murders a woman thief in his apartment, and makes the mistake of stashing her corpse in his apartment building’s water duct. Finally, in the comic “Haunting Motel”, an aging stripper-cum-prostitute, a gay guy and his straight friend end up in a hotel owned by a crazy old lady and haunted by a ladykiller.

Sounds pretty core, no?!?

DIE A VIOLENT DEATH is overseen by writer/director Poj Arnon (HAUNTING ME).
