It’s been about 4 months since we had an update for Seiji Chiba’s awesome sounding bloodbath ALIEN VS. NINJA, so I’d say we’re more than due to enjoy some new goodies from the Japanese genre romp. And it just so happens, a brand new one-sheet for the film has been unfurled. Get after it below!
Starring Mika Hiiji, Shuuji Kashiwabara, Ben Hiura, Yuki Ogoe, Donpei Tsuchihira, and Masanori Mimoto – ALIEN VS. NINJA picks up:
Once upon a time in Japan, where a band of great Ninja warriors was led by Yamata called Iga Ninja. One day they witness a flash in the sky and a roaring giant ball of fire crashes into the distant forest. The warriors rush into the deep woods in an attempt to identify the mysterious fireball. There, instead of finding predictable enemies, they are stunned to face never-seen-before creatures with claws and fangs, the aliens!
The hungry brutal aliens start to savage and feast on the Ninja warriors, leaving only a few to survive. Yamata and his warriors swear to avenge their comrades’ deaths and risk their lives to challenge the aliens. However, none of the Ninja weapons, neither their swords nor their throwing stars, has any affect on the alien warriors. Now the Japanese greatest Iga Ninja face the biggest challenge ever!
So where the hell in that description are dinosaurs mentioned? I’m not hallucinating, am I? You do see a f*ckin’ dinosaur on the new poster, don’t you? If not, what then? A dragon? Some kind of savage descendent of Nessie? What the hell is going on here???
Not that it matters much, so long as hordes of men and women are getting voraciously shredded to pieces…I’m down no matter what the actual monster turns out to be. Who’s with me?
