Nope, not the TWILIGHT flick. Sorry kiddies.

It’s been more than a month since briefing and giving you a trailer for Conor McPherson’s elegiac romantic horror film THE ECLIPSE, so I suppose it’s only fair we reward your patience (or try it) with a new 3 minute clip from the film!

THE ECLIPSE, written by McPherson alone, is set in a seaside Irish town, where a widower sparks with a visiting horror novelist while he also begins to believe he is seeing ghosts.

The flick stars Ciaran Hinds, Iben Hjejle, Aidan Quinn, Dorothy Cotter, Eanna Hardwicke, Hannah Lynch, Jim Norton, and Hilary O’Shaughnessy.

In the clip below, entitled “Sleepless,” Michael (Hinds) is awoken from a deep slumber by strange noises he thinks he hears echoing throughout his house. He snaps out of bed, wanders around his abode trying to suss the situation, eventually believing the noise to be coming from his armoire. Then from his piano. But will he find anything? Watch and find out!

Trying to avoid spoilers, I’ll just say the clip has a drawn out, dreamlike quality that at first glance seems pretty innocuous. Look closer though, you might actually see something a bit more chilling!

THE ECLIPSE sees limited theatrical release on March 26th.
