Yesterday I gave you all some behind the scenes goods from John Landis’ BURKE AND HARE. Not too shabby right? Well today we’ve got our first actual look at our titular characters!
As you can see in the image to your right, which comes at us from The Sun, Andy Serkis as ‘William Hare’ and Simon Pegg as ‘William Burke’ are sure to be bringing us the spooky hijinks in Landis’ latest film, which is currently filming in Edinburgh. Like I said yesterday… How can these three guys not bring us something brilliant? The photo to your right isn’t anything official but it is our first real look at our heroes (villains?).
Based on the true story about the famous murderers, ‘Burke And Hare’ follows the hapless exploits of these two men as they fall into the highly profitable business of providing cadavers for the medical fraternity in Nineteenth Century Edinburgh, then the centre of medical learning. The one thing they were short of was bodies.
