Seeing how Tim Burton’s luscious refitting of ALICE IN WONDERLAND is only 11 days from release, the folks at Disney have upped the once a week promotion normally reserved for “Wonderland Wednesday” and dosed us with the very first, full minute in length video clip from the film (peep that shite out below!)

Dubbed “Clothe This Girl,” the following clip aptly depicts our title character, Alice (played by the lovely Mia Wasikowska) as she has an embarrassing nude run in with The Red Queen (Helena Bonham Carter) and The White Rabbit (Michael Sheen). Of course it’s Disney, so Mia’s girl-goodies are left shrouded, but hey, a kid can imagine, right?

In all seriousness, what I dig most about the clip, aside from Wasikowska nubile frame, is the humorous tone Helena Bonham Carter brings to the role of The Red Queen. It seems like whatever family fare Burton and company try their hand at, they never stoop to nauseatingly saccharine material. They always seem to leave room for the darker sense of humor, which I will always appreciate.

Hitting theaters regular, 3D and IMAX on March 5th– ALICE IN WONDERLAND also stars Alan Rickman, Crispin Glover, Anne Hathaway, Timothy Spall, Barbara Windsor, Matt Lucas, Stephen Fry, Christopher Lee and of course, Big John Depp.

Synopsis: 19-year-old Alice returns to the magical world from her childhood adventure, where she reunites with her old friends and learns of her true destiny: to end the Red Queen’s reign of terror.

Enjoy the first clip from the film!

Our beautiful Alice (Mia Wasikowska) is all growns up!
