Not long ago we were treated to an international poster for THE KILLER INSIDE ME (read Chris Bumbray’s review HERE), a poster that was actually quite boring. But no worries, as today the domestic poster for the film has surfaced, and things are looking up!
Not that there’s anything going on here other than having Casey Affleck looking all demented with his cowboy hat in hand, but you know what? It works. It’s simple, and sometimes it’s the simple posters that are the most effective. Right now, I know the killer must be inside Affleck here, and that it’s just dying to get out.
Because of the stellar cast, which also includes Jessica Alba, Kate Hudson (below), Simon Baker, and Bill Pullman, this poster could have been a floating head poster, but lucky for us… it’s not. Let’s hope the floating heads don’t ever appear, theatrical poster (or DVD cover) or otherwise.
