The buzz lately is all about the Academy Awards, it’s over-the-top number of nominees, and the awesomeness that is DISTRICT 9 up for Best Picture. But the real buzz isn’t for the Academy Awards… it’s for the Splatcademy Awards, presented by the fine folks at Dead Lantern.com!
As mentioned in the latest AITH Podcast (listen to it HERE), the Splatcademy Awards is a horror award show broadcast “live” as a podcast, honoring the year in horror with great categories like ‘Achievement in Breasts,’ ‘Best Death Scene,’ and ‘Best Horror Podcast not named the Splattercast.’
But there are 3 categories of particular note. The first, ‘Scariest Scene/Moment’ as Eric Walkuski and myself will be presenting that award to whomever wins (very cool), but most importantly ‘Best Horror Blog or Website not named DeadLanter.com’and Best Horror Screenplay!! Why? Because Arrow in the Head and 100 FEET (which The Arrow acted in) are nominated, that’s why, and what an honor it is!
So what are you waiting for? Head THIS WAY, vote for your favorite movies and boobies, and most importantly, vote for Arrow in the Head and 100 FEET as the year’s Best Horror Website and Best Horror Screenplay! Do all that, and I’ll be your best friend for life…
