Benicio talks: Cool new behind the scenes featurette for Universal’s Wolf Man

So, are you all excited to see Benicio Del Toro show his ferocious brawn as THE WOLF MAN next Friday? I know I am!

Regardless of where you may stand on Joe Johnston’s remake of the classic 1941 yarn, Yahoo has just issued a pretty tight little behind the scenes featurette to pump the passion in the lead up to the film’s opening on February 12th (scope it out below!)

What’s cool about the clip is the way Del Toro lends some further insight to the story, offering some background info, delving into the dynamic between his character and his character’s father, played by Anthony Hopkins. Actually, this video isn’t too dissimilar to one we saw back in November. Some lines and images overlap here, but the new vid is more of a continuation than a repetition. Trust me.

And for the 112th time, THE WOLFMAN follows Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, who is lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother… and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget. But when his brother’s fiancée, Gwen Conliffe, tracks him down to help find her missing love, Talbot returns home to join the search. He learns that something with brute strength and insatiable bloodlust has been killing the villagers, and that a suspicious Scotland Yard inspector named Aberline has come to investigate.
