Lucio Fulci’s City of the Living Dead is coming to DVD and Blu-ray

For all you Lucio Fulci fans out there (in the closet or otherwise), do I have a treat for you! It appears as though the new genre-loving distributor Blue Underground is re-releasing Fulci’s CITY OF THE LIVING DEAD on DVD, as well as releasing it for the first time in high definition on Blu-ray!

Not only is the film getting a fresh release and a new kick-ass cover (love the new cover art!), but it’s also getting a handful of new special features for you to sink your teeth into. These features include:

Not a bad treatment for a horror flick most people probably haven’t even heard of, let alone seen. Hopefully this gets more people the chance to check it out for the first time, and fall in love… that is, if they’re Fulci fans–not all are, as he’s definitely an acquired taste.

The DVD and Blu-ray is set to stores everywhere May 25th.
