According to Variety, the CW, McG’s Wonderland, and WBTV are teaming up to bring 10 three-minute webisodes of GHOSFACERS to the internet. GHOSTFACERS? Not sure what it’s about just yet, but I already love the title, yo!
GHOSTFACERS follows a team of ghost hunters documenting their exploits with cameras and whatnot. The team includes A.J. Buckle, Travis Wester, Brittany Ishibashi, and Austin Basis, with their first adventure hunting down a ghost (Kelly Carlson) in an old theater.
GHOSTFACERS actually appeared on the CW series SUPERNATURAL in its first season (episode ‘Hell House’), then again in its third season (episdoe ‘Ghostfacers’). Apparently the team of ghost hunters was so popular that they needed to bust out an entire web-series out of it. Cool beans! A SUPERNATURAL spin-off… who would have ever thought it.
The webisodes will appear on both TheWB.com and CWTV.com, with their own offical GHOSTFACERS website being updated with gag reels, behind the scene videos and pics, actor profiles (and confessionals), and all sorts of other shite you’d expect from something like this.
The first episode is currently under production, so stay tuned as we find out when the first webisode will be available!
