New trailer for the Ford Brothers’ African set zombie flick The Dead

You can’t get much more straight forward than a zombie picture called THE DEAD, can you?

Yet something tells me the Brothers Ford (Howard and Jonathan) have something a bit more unpredictable up the sleeve of their African set tale of flesh eating corpses. Why? It’s certainly not their resume that impresses (Howard’s directed only two features dating back to 1994, MAINLINE RUN & DISTANT SHADOW, on which Jonathan served as cinematographer). Nope, it ain’t the credentials that give me faith, it’s new updated trailer we have for you below!

Starring Dan Morgan, Rob Freeman, Benjamin James Elliot, Glenn Salvage, Mark Chapman, David Dontoh, Prince David Oseia, Ben Crowe, Nelson E. Ward and Alicia Riley – THE DEAD gets going:

After crashing off the coast, Lt. Brian Murphy battles for survival across the vast terrains of Africa in search for a way to get back to his beloved family. Joined by local military man Daniel Dembele who is also searching for his son, together both men join forces all the while battling against the ever present threat of the living dead!

Again, don’t be fooled by simple description. Cop a look at the trailer below and experience a cool new zombie setting that promises to redefine our terms of how limited (or unlimited) leagues of the undead can be onscreen. I mean, shit…I thought the desert heat was grueling enough!

Have a look, feel free to offer some thoughts below.
