A new and exciting approach to showcasing films and the art of filmmaking is the explosion of recent shorts in the form of episode-like web-series’. Case in point is the new horror web-series from Drew Daywalt, CAMERA OBSCURA, a project that simply put… looks creepy as f*ck.

Before getting too deep into it, check out the trailer below and dig in to this synopsis: A young woman’s world is rocked when she discovers that not only was her dead grandfather secretly a demon hunter when he was alive, but now the camera is hers and so is grandfather’s unfinished quest…

Apparently a bunch of sick, twisted, disturbing, and yet totally awesome demons are on the prowl, and only this chick’s camera can capture them and send them back… to where ever the f*ck they came from. Cool concept, and cool makeup and special effects–maybe the perfect avenue for the web-series medium.

The 17 episode show is being produced by Fewdio Productions for MWG Entertainment, No word on the when or where the web-series will be making its premier, but you can count on us letting you know as soon as it’s announced! In the meantime, check out the trailer below and have a flippin’ blast!
