New alternate ending to Saw VI after final credits

With SAW VI hitting DVD and Blu-ray in a new Unrated Director’s Cut on Tuesday (PRE-ORDER YOUR COPY HERE), we have a nice little surprise for you to look forward to after the film’s final credit sequence.

New to the unrated DVD, the scene below features Amanda (Shawnee Smith) peeping through a peephole at a creepy little girl, giving the girl some advice (“Don’t trust… don’t trust the one who saves you.”). Then a flash of a familiar face in hero mode. Then black. Pretty cool little scene to check out, and not at all spoilery if that was ever a concern for you. Maybe not enough to require a purchase of the film if you weren’t going to already, but is there more incentive to see what else is new in the Director’s Cut? You bet your ass there is.

Directed by Kevin Greutert and starring Smith, Tobin Bell, Costas Mandylor, and Mark Rolston, SAW VI hits the home video network on January 26, 2010. Enjoy!
