The last time we caught up with THE TENANT we scored a couple of new images from the film (check out those puppies HERE). Here we are about a month later, and it looks like the film is now officially complete!

And by complete, of course, we’re talking post-production has wrapped, and now this sucker is all ready for mass consumption. Directed by NIGHT TERROR director Ric La Monte, THE TENANT stars Michael Berryman, J. LaRose, Bill Cobbs, Randy Molnar, Georgia Chris, Sylvia Boykin, America D’Amaro, Justin Smith, Ashley Totin, Jennifer Sterger, and John Kyle. What a cast! But wait, it gets better… get a load of this synopsis:

As the tormented Dr. Newman conducts his dark experiments inside Edgewood Asylum, something goes horribly wrong. Twenty-eight years later, in the depths of the asylum, something evil still survives.

You can check out the brand new trailer below to get a better feel of what this sucker’s all about. It starts out a little like IT’S ALIVE, then morphs into something that feels almost like SAW 2 spliced with THE HOUSE ON HAUNTED HILL. And yeah, it looks pretty fun to boot.

While we know the film is completed, we don’t know of any set release date just yet. Now the next step is selling this sucker for distribution. Check out the film’s OFFICIAL SITE for more information, enjoy the trailer below, and stick around as we await THE TENANTS’ release date!
