There’s no doubt the flick looks sleek and elegant, meant to reflect the genteel Victorian era the flick takes place in, but let’s not assume the violence in the picture will align with that trend. Make no mistake, in the clips below, Del Toro looks rabid, hungry, and desperate to do all he can to sate a penchant for human flesh. Which f*ckin’ rocks!

Lawrence Talbot, a haunted nobleman, lured back to his family estate after his brother vanishes. Reunited with his estranged father, Talbot sets out to find his brother… and discovers a horrifying destiny for himself. Talbot’s childhood ended the night his mother died. After he left the sleepy Victorian hamlet of Blackmoor, he spent decades recovering and trying to forget.
