If you have an issue with giant snake-like creatures flying out of your mouth, attacking you in your sleeping, then resting back in your esophagus for the rest of night, then THE SLEEPING DEEP may not be for you. But if giant cock-like creatures mean a whole new level of horror that you simply can’t get enough of, then you should definitely check out the teaser below and have a flippin’ blast!
THE SLEEPING DEEP’s script by Jeffrey Blake Palmer won an assload of awards back in 2008, and now that the film is made from it, it’s hoping to have the same success. While I couldn’t tell you one way or the other based on the trailer below, I can say that mouth-living serpents are pretty f*ckin’ creepy. Even fake looking CGI ones.
The trailer debuted at the Annual H.P. Lovecraft Film Festival where the script one an award the year previous, so it’s obvious to note that the film is very Lovecraftian. Lovecraft doesn’t really blow my skirt up or anything, but his work has inspired some awesome stuff, so I’ll give it a try.
