Zombies. Vampires. Post-apocalypse. Revenge flicks. Werewolves. These seem to be the most rampant of horror subgenres these days, and REST FOR THE WICKED falls headlong into the latter category. Check it…

Megan, a young woman, emerges from nowhere covered only in blood. Where has she been? And whose blood is it? As she is questioned in the hospital by police, both Megan’s mother and her psychiatrist are there by her side to help her remember. In flashbacks, we slowly start to piece the puzzle together.

As Megan recounts her tale, the police work hard to confirm her story is true. She had been held captive by a young man who thinks he will become a werewolf on his 21st birthday. But is he just the product of his very warped family? Megan manages to escape, but lands in the arms of a detective who turns out to be a more dangerous foe than she just evaded…because he IS a werewolf! Will Megan become the next to morph, or will she retain her humanity and put an end to the madness for good?

Directed by Todd Turner for Peach State Pictures, REST FOR THE WICKED is currently in pre-production and looks to fully secure funding (of a budget ranging from $3-5 million).

We’ll have more if it ever materializes. Stay up!
