Another day, another pimping of the cool-looking vampire flick DAYBREAKERS, this time in the form of the latest international poster. While it’s similar to a few of the other posters we’ve seen for the flick thus far, it’s a titch different here and there. But most importantly, it’s still pretty darn cool.
What else is there to say about DAYBREAKERS that hasn’t already been said? It’s directed by the Spierig Brothers, it stars Ethan Hawke, Isabel Lucas, Willem Dafoe, and Sam Neil, and it goes a little something like this: In the year 2019, a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind.
Early word on the street has this movie feeling ‘meh,’ but that doesn’t mean I still really want to check it out. There’s some serious style going on with this flick, and in a world where we don’t see enough stylish vampire flicks, it’ll be much appreciated to see such awesomeness on the big screen.
