The more I see of the Brothers Spierig film DAYBREAKERS, the more I’m honeslty pumped to see the damn thing. And keeping that trend alive is a fresh new outdoor poster for the flick the sick ghouls over at Bloody-Disgusting landed their paws on (view the entire poster HERE).

Seriously, with each new promo material, be it a clip or a poster, one thing seems pretty f*ckin’ crystal – that DAYBREAKERS will do all in its power to derail emo, toothless, twennie-bopper vamps and replace them with all that is right and good in the genre. Make no mistake, real vampires are back, and back in a big bad way!

As we’re sure you’ve caught onto by now, DAYBREAKERS is a story set:

In the year 2019, which a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind.

Aside from the smoldering Isabel Lucas (below), the flick binds a trio of leading men, including Willem Dafoe, Ethan Hawke and Sam Neill. Added to them are Claudia Karvan, Emma Randall, Jay Laga’aia, Vince Colosimo, Michelle Atkinson, Michael Dorman, Christopher Kirby, Robyn Moore, and Mungo McKay.

Be sure to fire some shells telling us what you think of the above poster, and remember, DAYBREAKERS sees the light January 8th (the 6th in the U.K.)
