Cool new Frozen poster

With Adam Green recently completing his newest film FROZEN, a pretty sweet new poster has hit the wire for his snow-set dramatic thriller.

Green, who’s probably best known for his grue-sodden 2006 film HATCHET, focuses his new story on three skiers stranded on a chairlift who are forced to make life-or-death choices that prove more perilous than staying put and freezing to death.

As you can see above, the new poster harks back to the halcyon days of cliffhanger cinema, a potential victim clinging to said chairlift for dear life. Personally, I’m diggin’ the stark look of the image, the stormy weather colors, the off-kilter angle of the mountain in the background. Pretty unsettling shite!

Set for a February 5, 2010 release, FROZEN stars Emma Bell (below), Ed Ackerman, Rileah Vanderbilt, Adam Johnson, Chris York, Peder Melhuse, Kevin Zegers, Shawn Ashmore, John Omohundro and of course our favorite, Mr. Kane mothaf*ckin’ Hodder!

FROZEN is an ArieScope production. Anchor Bay will distribute theatrically in the U.S., Momentum Pictures in the U.K.

So what’s the verdict – you feelin’ this poster or could it be a lot better?
