L.Bones featurette #3

For some unknown reason, I’ve shifted from plugging Jimmy Cameron’s AVATAR adnauseum to plugging Pete Jackson’s THE LOVELY BONES adnauseum. What the hell is that all about?

As I try and suss that shite, I implore you all to cop a look at a new featurette for THE LOVELY BONES. You’ll see the director himself, as well as stars Rachel Weisz (seen below), Mark Wahlberg, Susan Sarandon, Saoirse Ronin, Michael Imperioli and of course Stanley Tucci (whose performance I’ve gone ahead and declared Oscar winning material – an assertion I’ve made solely from clips and trailers, mind you). All of whom offer further insight to the story they’ve told, including the differentiation between true “ghost rules” and a deceased one’s ability to influence the living. Susie, our protagonist, fits the later mold.

Based on Alice Sebold’s best-selling tome, THE LOVELY BONES hits select cities tomorrow (Dec. 11), with a wide release date set for Jan. 15, 2010.

Get acquainted with the featurette underneath, if for no other reason than to hear Rachel Weisz’s sexy English accent. It’s delicious!

HEAT!!!
