Queen of Screams deets

Oh hell yeah, now here’s a flick that’s my cup of tea! With the trashy yet highly watchable VH1 series “Scream Queens,” it only seemed an inevitable amount of time before a feature length horror flick exploited such a title. And wasting little time seems to be Margo Romero with his latest film THE QUEEN OF SCREAMS.

Currently in post-production, THE QUEEN OF SCREAMS finds a small group of teenagers trapped in a deserted movie theater and stalked by a crazed B-movie actress out to kill for the demise of her career.

Perfect. MOMMY DEAREST meets DEMONS. I’m so with it!

Stephen Savage (THE HUNTER’S MOON, LEGACY) scripts from an Alex Ryan (THE PHOBIC) story, with the flick starring George Contreras, Eileen Dietz, Cameron Gharaee, Steven and Nathanial Kunkle, Jessica McCabe, Chancellor Miller, Katelin Phipps, Geneva Somers, Trever Stevens and AITH’s very own Tiffany Shepis (below).

Damn I love it when horror flicks take place in a movie-theater. They’re always just so fun and self-contained. Flicks like DEMONS or the opening sequence of HE KNOWS YOU’RE ALONE (which was directly cribbed as the opener in SCREAM 2) always offers an extra charge, especially if lucky enough to cop a big-screen look at the film.

What says you – what’s your favorite horror film location?
