Lots of Bones pics/clip

As our man Ammon lamented in today’s Weekly Slaughter, there ain’t a whole heck of a lot of cool flicks hitting theaters or DVD this week. The lone exception would have to be Peter Jackson’s end of year prestige drama THE LOVELY BONES, and even that is only being released in limited theaters around the country (it opens wide Jan. 15).

But that isn’t stopping us from sharing a new clip and a bevy of fresh stills from the flick! I mean, let’s face it – this is the first feature length film Jackson has directed since, aside from losing more weight than a damn Lohan, the 2005 remake of KING KONG. In other words, it’s about time the dude got back in the saddle!

For those on a Xanax bender for the last year or so, THE LOVELY BONES:

Centers on a young girl who has been murdered and watches over her family – and her killer – from heaven. She must weigh her desire for vengeance against her desire for her family to heal.

“Dollhouse,” the clip we have for you below, picks up almost exactly where we left off in our last clip (“A Few Questions”) with lead investigator Len Fenerman (Michael Imperioli) further grilling primary suspect and next door neighbor George Harvey (Stanley Tucci). Fenerman’s discovery of Harvey’s penchant for constructing elaborate dollhouses only rouses greater suspicion.

I just wanna say this: After seeing Stanley Tucci this vile, this latently perverted, I’d be shocked if the dude didn’t at least nab an Oscar nod for this role (my bet is he walks away with the best supporting statuette come Oscar night).
