You know AVATAR is inching closer and closer to next week’s release date when there’s a new AVATAR update just about every day. Yesterday we caught up with a new clip from the film, and today… we have a glimpse at the film’s new IMAX poster!
I’ve been lukewarm on the previous posters for the James Cameron directed 3D epic, mostly cause giant head posters do nothing for me. And while this poster features not one, but two giant heads, it’s still better the any of the previous posters we’ve seen thus far.
Why? Because there’s more than just heads to look at, I guess. We get some of the alien planet, a couple of moons, that flying beast, and a special nod to TERMINATOR 2. They could have just said TITANIC, but they went for a Cameron classic as well (though all of his movies are classics).
