Now that CHAIN LETTER has been picked up for distribution (check out that story HERE), director Deon Taylor has a ton more time on his hands, so naturally he’s wanting to use that time productively and make another movie!

The Christmas season is upon us, so naturally the theme of Taylor’s new film is Christmas, as in NITE TALES PRESENTS DARK CHRISTMAS! You may recall the flick NITE TALES hitting DVD back in February because it starred Flavor Flav and Tony Todd, and played out like an ‘anthology’ of sorts, with 2 different stories to hold your attention.

To keep the anthology tradition alive, it appears as though DARK CHRISTMAS will be similar in its storytelling, with multiple stories brought together by on emcee (i.e., Flavor Flav). However, no official details have been released just yet, other than the film’s official teaser poster / promo art.

The world needs more horror-themed Christmas movies, so I’m down to give DARK CHRISTMAS a chance. Though as filming is set to begin in a few weeks, the timing seems off… that is, unless they plan on sitting on this beast for another year so it can be released next holiday season. Keep it here for more news and updates from NITE TALES PRESENTS DARK CHRISTMAS as we hear it!
