The last time we told you about the Dark Castle-produced horror flick THE FACTORY, the film was being slapped with an October 2010 release date (check it out HERE).
Today STYD had a chance to catch up with one of the film’s writers and the scoop as to the status of the film. Morgan O’Neill co-wrote the script along with Paul Leyden, and producer Don Carmody had this to stay as to where the film is at: The main thing is the ending and the beginning, which is a flashback sequence that needed to be shot in different weather… They tweaked the ending and shot it a couple of months ago. So they’re mixing. The picture’s basically finished.
Well thank Zeus for that! The flick stars the great John Cusack as a detective on the trail of a serial killer prowling the streets of Buffalo, N.Y. When his teenage daughter disappears, he drops any professional restraint to get the killer.
Sounds like some personal, revengeful shite right there. It also sounds pretty freakin’ sweet. John Cusack’s the man in everything that he does, and for some odd reason, he hasn’t aged in the last 20 years. Now that’s talent!
