Saw VI soundtrack tour

Every movie released on the big screen generally has a soundtrack released on CD (or downloadable via iTunes), and either feature music in the film or inspired by the film. But rarely does it go beyond the release of the soundtrack–that’s usually where it ends.

However, that’s not the case with the SAW VI soundtrack, as it’s doing a series first – it’s taking the soundtrack ON TOUR! According to Fangoria, THE SAW VI SOUNDTRACK PRESENTS TOUR is scheduled to kick-off on December 2nd throughout the Midwest, and will featuring the musical talents of Mushroomhead, along with special guests Ventana & The Flood!

Feeding off the ‘success’of their SAW VI single ‘Your Soul is Mine,’ Mushroom decided to run with it and bring the entire soundtrack on tour with them. The Flood’s ‘Lethal Injection’ was also featured on the Soundtrack, hence their involvement with the tour as well.

Considering SAW VI is now seen as the series’ biggest failure, this seems a little desperate, if not a bit unwarranted, but then again, if those out there were digging the rockin’ sounds of the soundtrack, why not catch the whole f*cking thing live, right?
