I’m confused by his decision to dye his hair bright orange (not in the film…have you seen him on late night?) and ignore his sideburns. But I’ll give John C. Reilly a pass on anything. He gives an incredibly subtle performance as the vampire Crepsley in CIRQUE DU FREAK: THE VAMPIRE’S ASSISTANT…and it would have been so easy to over play it. Reilly is one of the most underrated actors of our time. I’m sure most of you would agree. I have yet to see anything I didn’t love him in. Whether or not I love the film…he always makes me laugh.
