I have great sympathy for any young actor doing a vampire film that is not TWILIGHT. Chris Massoglia managed to pull off one of my favorite roles from a young adult novel in CIRQUE DU FREAK: THE VAMPIRE’S ASSISTANT and do it really well. Plus, he looks shockingly like a young Christopher Reeve. I swear, his shoulders got wider as the film went on. Shut up. I’m not a cougar. Ahem. Chris gives us the scoop on vamps without fangs, the novels (read them!) the film is based on, and I somehow managed to stop myself from asking him to quote SUPERMAN.
