Stepfather clip

As if they just remembered that THE STEPFATHER was hitting theaters this Friday, Yahoo!Movies was just provided a brand new clip from the film today, featuring Penn Badgley and Dylan Walsh having much needed father/son time in the basement, i.e., taking shots of a hidden bottle of hard stuff.

The best part about this movie appears to be Amber Heard strutting her stuff in a bikini. Otherwise, it’ll likely be ok to pass this one up and see PARANORMAL ACTIVITY instead. But don’t take my word for it, check out the clip HERE and see for yourself.

Co-starring Sela Ward, THE STEPFATHER plays like so: Michael Harding returns home from military school to find his mother happily in love and living with her new boyfriend, David. As the two men get to know each other, Michael becomes more and more suspicious of the man who is always there with a helpful hand. Is he really the man of her dreams or could David be hiding a dark side?

I’m guessing he’s hiding a dark side with an infatuation of circular saws. I like Walsh, I like Badgley, but I can’t say I’m digging the vibes I’m getting from this PG-13 remake. We shall see this Friday, when THE STEPFATHER hits theaters everywhere. In the meantime, enjoy the CLIP and call it a day!
