Psycho Sweet date

Fans of MTV, Julianna Guill, and slasher parodies of really bad reality TV shows, get ready to rejoice: MTV’s MY SUPER PSCYHO SWEET 16 has just been slapped with an air date!

The made for TV (and DVD) movie, based on the popular MTV reality series with a slasher twist is set to premiere on MTV Friday, October 23 at 10:00/9:00c, at least according to The Futon Critic. And why the hell would the lie? Why indeed…

The flick stars Chris Zylka, Julianna Guill, Lauren McKnight, and Matt Angel, and is directed by THE SIGNAL director Jacob Gentry. For those that really want to know, MY SUPER PSYCHO 16 is about a killer who crashes Madison Penrose’s (Guill) birthday bash at the Rollerdome, the site of several grisly murders a decade earlier.

I’m not a fan of the show, but this flick sounds like a blast and a half, a throw-back to 80s slasher films everywhere. That, and Guill is a super hottie. Just in time for Halloween. Keep it here for more SUPER SWEET 16 goodness (like the unrated DVD release date), and be sure to set your TiVo for Friday, Octobert 23rd!
